having your guest upload to snapfish?

I have heard of one bride (on here maybe) having a little card or something in their program saying something like "did you get a great shot, share it with us, upload to snapfish.com...."

Has anyone on here done that or would suggest something else? I would hate to have envelopes with stamps ready if no one takes one. Thanks.

I did free business cards from Vistaprint.  I just put them out with the guestbook and programs, and I also put them in the OOT boxes.  Only a couple of people did it and most of the pictures were pretty bad.

I tied them to our favors (made free business cards on VistaPrint as well) and we got about 5 albums uploaded and they were GREAT.  I highly recommend it.  It's a good way to get everyone's candid shots.

My sister attended a wedding where the couple did this and said it was a really good idea. You can take you chances that most probably won't post, but for those that do, you (hopefully) get great pictures from others perspectives.

I did this with the vistaprint freebie business cards. I would do it again even though most didn't upload, but I did get some good uploads from my family with some shots the photographer didn't have they just weren't high quality, for the most part in terms of lighting.

I'd do it. We did and got 3 or 4 uploads. About half of those were good pictures. Definitely do the freebie vista print cards. I wouldn't spend any money on it.

Do you just set up an account, and then give instructions on how to upload or do you just hope people know how to do it? :)

You can view mine in my planning bio.  You set up the account and give everyone the website, login and password.

I definitely plan on doing this. FSIL and FBIL are both photographers, plus all my mom's friends are scrapbookers and love taking pictures. My grandfather is also a photographer, but I don't know if he'll bring his camera. FI is also a photographer, but I'm going to try to keep him from having a camera in his hands if at all possible! Wink
