Hey Guys

First time posting on the boards! I am getting married 4.28.12 and I wanted to know What is a reasonable price to pay for a DJ and Florists. My DJ is going to do lighting as well.

We are getting married at the Four Seasons and having 75 guests.

Also any suggestions of Hair/Make Up artists would be appreciated

Check out the vendor sticky at the top... It's a great place to start. DJs range from $500 to $3000, depending on what you're looking for.

I loved my MUA Kristin Colaneri. I also loved my DJ Glenn Roush and my florist Tami Winn. All were fantastic. Most budget calculators will tell you to estimate 10% of your overall budget for flowers. DJs will run the gamut like Bri said.

I used Melody with Melodies and Memories, and not only was she awesome, she was extremely well priced as well! She ran $700, but I also booked her mid 2010, so not sure how her prices have changed. That said, I had a separate lighting company do all of my lighting.

For engagement pics, I got my makeup done at Sephora, and all you have to buy is a $50 gift card. That was sort of a "trial run" and I loved the girl, so I'm going to do the same for my wedding, as well as my wedding party.
I'm doing a band, not a DJ, but I got a very reasonably priced 5 piece band for $3000.
I'm doing my own flowers using www.fiftyflowers.com as that was one of the things I decided to sacrifice so I could get my band and lots of booze!

My DJ was $400.

I'm paying 725.00 for my DJ, that includes lighting and two event spaces where he will be set up.  I agree the price can range from 500 up to thousands.

It is a nice gesture but you are not obligated to pay for it <em>unless</em> (1) you are <em>requiring</em> them to have their hair/makeup done professionally or (2) you are asking them to wear their hair a certain way.
