Is anyone getting married NYE?  We are planning our wedding for NYE 2012 and would like any suggestions you might have...

    I wont be but here's what i can think of off the top of my head.

    firstly i would plan for a bigger budget and a smaller turn out. a ton of people use their paid leave/vacation during that time of year for christmas. Alot of places, like hotels and such, may throw new years parties, and other places will also charge a holiday fee to use their venue.

    One of our girls got married on NYE a couple of years ago.  I'll see if I can get her to come back over to give you some tips.

    Sounds like it could be a ton of fun but I also agree that you could have a smaller turnout while spending much more money. In the right setting with the right friends it could be wonderful though!
