I hate that Rain song too.... good call!  Country music is awesome, then they have to throw those ridiculous songs in there and ruin it for everyone! haha

@ Julie. It's ok sometimes with IL's it doesnt matter what you do, you just cannot please them. I have come to accept that fact. I feel like I am always beeing treated like a complete stranger but that's ok.
 Had a productive weekend. I went to see one place, the Atruims at park west. Really nice place and the price is good. I just didn't like the set up though. I guess I will keep looking.

Oh, I have another one. I'm full of them today.

One of my BM's just texted me and said "Hey, i'm on my way to take my dress to alterations to get it hemmed up. I feel like it's too long for me"

Came out of nowhere. She's had the dress since April.

I wanted to say "Um, were you even going to ask me before doing this? I mean, you're wearing this for MY wedding."

Ugh, annoying.

Oh I forgot, Aunt Flo has been around for going on 3 weeks now.  No idea why but called my dr and they are changing my BC to see if that helps.  This really sucks and I have been emotional, bitchy, and plain blah almost the whole time.

I think I would go crazy if Flo was around for 3 weeks.  I hope you and the Dr's get that figured out soon.

I love country music, but then they make stupid songs like sexy tractors and rain that non-followers hear and it gives them ammunition to knock the whole genera.  All music has bad songs, it just seems like the bad country ones are SO corny.

I am so sick of work it's not even funny. I'm having lunch with some friends on Wednesday and going to Austin this weekend, so maybe it's just because I'm anticipating those. But I do not want to be here.

I am not a country music listener person usually, but I often drive my dad's car to work and he has Sirius radio. There's a station on there called Prime Country which is songs from the late '80s to the early 2000s. I love it!

I got new contacts today and they feel funny and keep moving around. I hate that my contact Rx won't ever be as strong as my glasses Rx. It almost makes me not want to wear the contacts.

That happens with my contacts too, mostly with my left eye. So my vision is always slightly blurry when I wear them.

Tiffany & Sparkling... I really liked Inception too. Some people don't care for the ending, but I thought it was pretty clever.

Bsn- Can't agree more about that song, and half the other country songs out there. Including that song based on that joke "what you get when you play a country song backwards",  that song about "riding a horse not a cowboy" and any song that mentions dancing in cornfields. UGH.

Guess I'm in a mood too. It wasn't helped by the fact I watched My Fair Wedding with the girl that wanted to wear boots with her dress.

I'm getting so frustrated with the FIL.  I'm lucky in that they don't really interfere with our lives and we really only see them holidays and birthdays.

There have been a few wedding related things though that are driving me crazy.
1. I've invited her to so many things like wedding dress shopping, offering to help her find a dress, etc...and she has found an excuse to say no to all of them.  My FI says to just stop trying.
2. We are having pictures of all our married family members and also some pics of both of us growing up at the wedding.  We asked our parents for these back in February.  My parents found mine and sent in May/June.  He has reminded his mother every time they talk and she just last week tried to look.  Come to find out that she can't find them in the house but thinks they are in the attic but is too lazy to go up and look!  Seriously?!  That is the only thing I've asked them to get for the wedding.
3. Our invites went out (FI approved them first of course) and it just stated that my parents invited you to....  She was upset that they weren't mentioned at all.  Um hello....
A. traditionally only the brides parents are listed.  And in our case, my parents have forked over a lot of money and you will most likely be buying a few bottles of wine for the rehearsal dinner.
B. you haven't wanted to be involved in anything related to the wedding so far.
C. your names will probably be put on the rehearsal dinner invites even though you aren't paying for it!  We are!

They live about an hour outside the city in the country but c'mon.  You should still know the basic wedding traditions .  You have 3 other married kids, although none had a normal wedding (And by normal I mean invitations, a reception, decorations...).  I'm just frustrated that you want your names on the invites when you haven't wanted anything to do with this wedding and aren't offering to help at all.

I know it's not Monday anymore, but I really hated the ending too! I couldn't tell which way it went!
