Just thought I would share the awesomeness that is Bed, Bath and Beyond. My sister was married 4 1/2 years ago and registered here. She received a plate set and after 4 1/2 years it had a lot of normal wear-and-tear (sp? lol) and not to mention several of these dishes had broken by now from dishwasher use and what not.
She called the manager of BBB because the dishes did not have a warranty and she explained how a lot of the dishes had broken and yada yada yada. Anyways, the manager told her to bring up what was left of the set and he would CREDIT her for the amount those dishes were worth and she could pick any NEW set! She didn't have to have a receipt and he didn't give her a hard time or anything. I think they still had the registry on file and just had to prove she got them there.
So, morale of the story, Bed Bath & Beyond is the place to register!
