Sunday!

I'll be spending most of my day studying for finals.  I need distraction.  Talk to me.

Haha, I'll admit to noticing things like that occasionally, but not posting or telling other about them. Mostly I just try to notice things like that so I know when the food inevitably goes bad. We're awful about actually using up all the food we buy. We still eat like college students. If it's not straight from a bag or TV tray, it's probably fast food. Ugh. Maybe in Year 2 of marriage we'll start cooking more...

In other news, my dog had an accident in the house today. Actually two ... she seems to always have two accidents in a row when she does mess up, IDK why. I'm a little disappointed it happened, but still encouraged...it's been 12 days since her last accident!!! ! Before that, it was 8 days between accidents, and something like 3 days before that. So she's definitely doing better, but it still sucks when it happens.

I ordered a bell on Amazon and am looking up bell training. It's amazing she's had so few accidents, really, considering she still gives NO indication when she needs to go. I just kind of guess, and apparently I was a really bad guesser this morning.

<div>We're awful about not using up all the food we buy, too!  I've been eating like a college student since FI has been gone.  It's not worth coming home after a 12-14 hour day to make a meal from scratch for one person.  I buy the frozen, pre-cooked chicken breasts and heat them up in the micro, steam a bag of veggies in the micro after that, and mayyyybe make some noodles.  And that's pretty much it, if I even get around to making dinner at all.  I've been thriving on Lean Cuisines, LOL.</div><div>
</div><div>Ha, I mean every now and then I think of things like the expiration date too but really, you have to go onto your month board and be like, "SQUEEEE!!! My milk expires the day I get married!!! Let's all jump around and be excited!!!"  Just weird to me.</div>

You're still light years ahead of me. Friday night H was studying or something, so I had a bag of edamame for dinner. That's it.

I <em>lived</em> on Lean Cuisines while I lived in the midwest, aka back before I met H and start eating like crap. I still buy them for those random foraging-around-the-house nights, but they've definitely lost all appeal for me. Back in the day, I actually <em>enjoyed</em> them.

How much longer til your FI comes home?

<div>Oh I definitely don't enjoy Lean Cuisines!  I just rarely eat out so if I don't feel like making something from scratch, that's pretty much the best option I have.  They get old... fast.  I had sugar snap peas and green beans for dinner the other night, so I'm right there with ya! :)</div><div>

I've thought about it. It wouldn't take me long to learn it. I just hate being bored at work. Which it will be this summer when UNT and TWU get out. Not looking forward to it at all.

  • I've been extremely busy this weekend so listening to a great sermon at church followed by brunch with my friends was a great way to end the weekend. I need to workout still and then relax cause I'm off tomorrow!!!! that meal sounds delicious! Do they offer the three course meals all the time? Has anyone been to Oddfellows? We were supposed to go today but it was a 2 hour wait! So we ended up going to Oak instead. I really want to try it but is it ever not busy?

<div>I think so, I would just guess they change it up every now and then.  There's tons of things to choose from on both menus, and then they also just have everything listed separately.</div>

  • Amy- I must have been doing it wrong. The only time I related the expriation date to my wedding was "Oh...I better pour this out so it's not nasty when we come back."

    Silly people.

    Amanda- Now I'm hungry....Yum.

I don't know why, but I had a sudden urge of "nice-ness" and asked my mom if she wanted to come over.
I'm regretting...I doubt it will be as quick and painless as I want it to be.
