I totally agree, Wendi.  I watched a segment on a news show about him a couple of years ago.  Did you know that his wife pretty much doesn't let him have more than about $20 at a time?  And, I don't think she allows him to have a credit card either.  The interviewer asked them why not and he replied, "Because I would spend it on drugs."

Heartbreaking about Josh! :-( I flame myself. I went through my wedding stuff last night so I could finally get this stuff posted for sale...but I wanna keep it all. Let. Go. I also flame the fact I think I am getting sick. This better make up it's mind now, so I am all good for Wendi's wedding! ;-)

I heard this on KKITM this morning and I almost teared up. HUGE sports fan and I hate hate hate this. I'm sure they will talk it up and down on the Ticket today.

Very sad about Josh.  The radio show I listen to had several recovering alcoholics call in and give their insight -- they were not very forgiving.  One guy suggested that Josh should be fired.  =(  I hope they don't do that.  If anything I would think that would be worse for him.

So, I referenced the Yukon thing in the AW thread yesterday.  This would be a very good thing for us.  Plus H's boss is thinking of sending him to Carrollton for a two-week (!!!) training seminar.  I haven't actually ever lived with my husband (as my husband) for more than a few days, y'all.

Spinning off of that, I got a gift from someone on step-mom's side, who isn't invited cause they are like a cousin of an aunt or something distant (although in a small Oklahoma town of 20 people I guess they aren't THAT distant). I haven't seen these people since I was like 13. I am writing a thank you card, but it was just odd to me...

This is the last I'll say about it, but I flame whoever reported or deleted my comment yesterday. Yes, it's cowardly not to speak under my own screenname, but I think It says something about (some, certainly not all) members of this community that I feel like there are certain things I can't say under my own name or to certain people directly. I definitely appreciate the wonderful ladies that I've met here and will continue to keep in touch with those of you I've built lasting friendships with. I'm sad that a few pot stirrers and misunderstandings have made this community difficult for a lot of people but it is what it is and I guess some of us have to move on at some point. px.

I flame my bridesmaid who told ME to 'get on it' in regards to planning my wedding shower and bachelorette party because SHE has a busy April & May.  Sweet Lord keep me sane.  My future MIL and SILs are planning my shower for late April.  I'm not about to prod them for any reason.  They don't even have to plan a shower for me, no one does.  It would be beyond rude to push.  And as for my bachelorette party, isn't that something the bridesmaids put together???  Uhgg.  At least it's the weekend.  Hooray!!!
