    I dressed like a young Minerva McGonagall today for fantasy character day today and we have the Homecoming Parade tonight.  Hopefully, the seniors will win for their float.

    I got permission from my boss to be gone for two days before the Winter Break and I bought plane tickets for our trip to Disney.  I also managed to get tickets to Mickey's Very Magic Christmas Party so we'll be wandering down Main St. Disney with fake snow falling on us and trying to find Scrooge McDuck (he apparently only appears at this time).

    I'm excited for you because that's my parents anniversary and they would have been married 40 years.  I know that you and Courts will have as wonderful and loving a marriage as my parents did.

    We have finally finalized our trip to Pagosa Springs, CO for Valentines next year - 5 days of white blankets of snow, cuddling by the fire, drinking hot chocolate, and falling on my a** while attempting to ski!!! Laughing I can't wait!!!

    This is kind of a "pre" AW....I have my hair and makeup trial on Sunday whooo hooo!! :)

    I have married my dress selection down to 3! I am having the hardest time choosing and I am being so indecisive. I am going back both places to try on the choices this Saturday and hopefully I will be buying my wedding dress this weekend (:

    Brooke- that was sooooo me. But I got so lucky that my place had the two that I really loved so I could switch back and forth. Once I decided and said "this is the one," I loved the dress even more but I had to tell myself not to look at the other dress!! I still love the other dress but this one is more me because I can personalize it with accessories more than the other one. Good luck choosing between the dresses you "married down" to! ;)

    I had my final fitting last night, and my dress fits perfectly :) It will get shipped to RI Tuesday, and arrive there on Thursday. I'm so happy about how calm I feel, considering how stressful the planning process has been for me.  I leave for RI a week from Sunday for "wedding week" festivities, and I'll be married in just over 2 weeks... :D

    I have one more then I will stop being a super AW haha

    I mailed out the majority of my invitations on Tuesday (we needed updated address' for a few, so those got mailed out yesterday and today) and we just got our first RSVP today!!! (we are doing online RSVP's)

It makes it difficult because I leave one place and think that THAT'S the dress then I go to the other place try on that one and change my mind! It is a vicious cycle!     For Christmas last year I signed FI and I up for the Great Urban Race.  Since it is all of 6 days before our wedding we are team "Better Off Wed"

    It is this Saturday in Ft. Worth.  I am so excited!!! Seems like forever ago I signed us up.

    I had t-shirts made and I'll be wearing a veil and have a bouquest and he'll be wearing a bowtie.  Yea!!!

    One is a Maggie and the other is an Allure. 


    (We would take the dangly thing off, I am too ADD to have something hanging off my dress like that!)

    I love Pence and Panache it is my favorite place that we went. I think I got both those rec.'s (P&P and Bridal Designs) from you! So, thank you!

    I'm getting married in under a month.  All RSVPs are due tomorrow, which as you can see below, I will be making a lot of phone calls this weekend.  I also have my final fitting on Saturday.  My BM dress for MOH's wedding should come in this weekend.  Also, we are looking for a new place (to rent), so we are meeting with our realtor on Saturday to do a full day of looking. I would like to have that done before we get married.  Our lease is up at the end of November.   Phew!  That's it.

    Brooke, I was thisclose to buying that Allure dress, when I found out I won mine from Alfred Angelo.... But I looooved it :) 

    My AW is that I have a 2.5 day weekend (up from my standard 0 days off) for my best friend's wedding this weekend!  She has had SO much drama surrounding it, with the In Laws and finances, and with her dad being very sick with cancer, so some thoughts and prayers for a wonderful and smooth day would really help - her name is Holly :)  Oh, and I think I posted a couple weeks ago that her dad might not be well enough to be at her wedding... well, so far, he's doing okay and planning to be there and walk her down the aisle!
