I just wanted to thank everyone who gave cake suggestions! We had our tastings at Candy Haven, Elena's Cakes and the Cake Guys.
Elena was such a sweet lady, and her cakes were moist, but over our budget. We loved the strawberry and raspberry swirl cakes.
The Cake Guys were nice, but I realized that Chris and I are more into the fillings of the cakes, and their fillings were not our favorite. We were sad that we didn't like the strawberry filling (since we love strawberries), and would have gone with the raspberry fruit filling.
Our first tasting which was Candy Haven was our favorite! We loved the different combos of cakes and Molly was awesome to add to our ideas for the grooms cake! With all of the extras that we added (controllers to the groom's gaming cake for each of Chris' different systems, and the small fondant signs for our travel themed bride's cake) we still came up just under our budget! I was so excited about this!
Molly was so sweet to wrap up what was left, and even added more of our favorites (since there was nothing left) so my mom and brother could taste them that night.
