I need a cover band!

I have been searching for a cover band (70s, 80s, etc. popular hits) for our wedding since we really want live music, but I have not been very successful in finding good bands. I'm not too picky about age, although it feels a little odd to see older bands playing current hits, so I might want a younger band that really feels the current tunes, but can still play the timeless hits! Also, I would rather have a smaller band (maybe around 5 people) because I don't want to pay extra money for back-up singers and extra instruments. Does anyone have any suggestions or seen any good cover bands recently that I could check out? The only band I have found that I enjoyed based on their website was called Identity Theft. Has anyone seen them live? Thank you so much!

Look up the Molly Ringwalds. I haven't heard them personally but I have heard they are great! They do a lot of stuff in Louisiana but are doing a show at the Glass Cactus next month in Grapevine. They might do weddings. :)
Disclaimer: Please excuse the above comment. I'm probably freaking out because there is less than one month to go. Thank you.

This company basically hosts a ton of coverbands.  I've personally seen the M80s and LeFreak in person and they play all the expected classic 80s/70s songs.

I <3 Time Machine.  They play(ed?) a lot at Cape Buffalo and we used to go about once a month or so just to see them.  :)

Do you have any idea how much you want to spend?

My mom's friend's husband is in a band called Signature Band. They're really good, and cost slightly less than some of the other bands in Dallas. I highly recommend them!

I JUST booked Identity Theft for our January wedding and I am so excited about them!
I, too, could not stand the thought of old men trying to sing Lady Gaga. I haven't seen them live but they got great reviews, and I spoke to Jared a few times and he was super down to earth and cool.

Velvet Lovebox is a fun band that I've seen at bars (and have a decent following)... might look them up!

Thanks everyone for the responses! I think I am going to try and go with Identity Theft if they still have the date available by the time I have the deposit ready, but in case they end up not being available, it is great to have some good back-ups! Thanks again everyone!
