Flower Girl and Ring Bearer Conundrum

We're just engaged, and I guess this is probably way to early to worry, but I'd like y'all's input on this situation.

We'd really like to use 2 of my Fiance's nephews as ring bearers.  They are adorable and very well behaved.  However, my cousin is local and has a son around the same age.  My cousin's son though is not well behaved.  We really don't want to ask him, but are afraid of hurt feelings.  Suggestions?

And...  is 4 years old too young for a flower girl?

    Congrats on the engagement!! :-)

My MOH's twins will be my flower girl and ring bearer and they will only be 3 when we get married. Defintely don't expect much from younger kids though, just pick whoever you want at whatever age you want!

You don't have to ask the cousin if you don't want to. We're having my niece and nephew as flower girl and ring bearer, and I have a cousin with 3 little kids that I didn't ask. You aren't required to ask anyone. Besides your fiancés nephews outrank cousin's kids, IMO.

    Agreed.

I think four is a fine age for a FG.

Agree with PP.  If you're going to have kids at all, you want well-behaved kids.  We're not having flower girls/ring bearers.

    I agree with this too.

Plus I wouldn't want to have to worry about kids behaving badly in front of all my guests.
