    I wish I knew how to do the strikethrough...

    I'm glad my parents are coming into town early and will be here for Christmas, because I didn't want to hang out with my BIL's gf's family on Christmas Eve and I sincerely hope I don't have to.  I know it's family and friends and whatever...but I don't feel comfortable hanging out with her family when I don't them and chances are of them lasting and getting married aren't that high since the gf is so much younger than my BIL. 

    I'm also a little (a lot) bitter and jealous about her family's relationship with my IL's.  I'm also a little (a lot)  pissed that her family is lovingly referred to as "the in laws" by my MIL and FIL.  What about your ACTUAL in laws???

    We are doing goody bags for the kids and just found out another will be joining (over 2 weeks after the RSVP)  and we are not doing one for her- she's 1.  And I don't feel that bad about not doing it.

    I cannot stand my younger SIL's boyfriend.  They've been dating less than a year and he's not going to be here for Christmas, yet we are including him in our Secret Santa.  That means that not only will he not being opening a present with the rest of us on Christmas Eve, but the 2 people that he drew will not be opening presents either because he doesn't have time to ship the gifts up here. 

    This last part should probably be on FFF, but he's Buddhist and doesn't even celebrate Christmas.  So why are we even including him?  It's not like he's going to feel left out...because he won't even be here!

    My confession is that I got a little teary eyed at Kroger last night.  I was walking in and it was really cold outside and the Salvation Army bell ringer was singing Christmas carols in the most beautiful voice and a cute little blonde girl ran up and put some money in the tin and her dad watched her so proud....it was like a picture of what Christmas really is about!

    I sold some pink pomanders that I bought on trash to treasure (and subsequently decided I don't want)  and made a considerable profit. =)

    I also filed for my tuition reimbursement and included receipts for the books that I already sold for more than I purchased them for.

    Lindsay, you don't want to know!  Ever since I read Bananna's post, I've had that horrible song stuck in my head.  It's a commercial where Megan sings a song about butter (or is it margarine?) and it's based off the song "Turn the Beat Around". 

    Christmas has officially been ruined for David's family.  David replied to an email to all of his siblings and probably went a little overboard with the passive agressiveness towards his younger sister and her boyfriend.  Now the boyfriend has replied back to that email and honestly I think he overstepped his boundaries considering he's just a boyfriend and not a spouse.  He was downright rude and very sarcastic and I really want to punch him right now.

    Alex is't going with me to my company party since he is going on a guys trip! It sucks but its ok. I forgot all about it when they were planning it and didnt realize it was on the same day. But he is making it up to me and taking me to Shreveport! yay! So I am taking my SIL with me and my plan is to get her drunk! haha! She doesn't get out much and the last time she went out was last December!

    The toilet in our bedroom has been broken for 2 weeks.  I've asked several times for FI to fix it (I know he can).  It's still broken.  I called and asked my dad to come fix it for 2 reasons:  #1- I want it fixed, and he'll do it asap.  #2- It bugs the CRAP out of FI whenever I ask (or even imply that I'm going to ask) my dad to come take care of things.  I am tired of peeing in the guest bathroom, yes, but I openly admit that I called him more to tick off FI then to get it fixed.  Maybe next time it won't take him so long to fix things.  And I know it is very catty of me to think that. 

    I have not had 1 thing today that was even remotely good for me (except maybe a carrot stick, but that was covered in dip so I'm not sure it counts).

    I know what you mean. We did five Angels and I started getting teary eyed as we were dropping them off.
