Today I am waiting for an important phone call (FI's grandma is in the hospital) and this is the day that every random person decides to call.  (This more of a B&M. :-O) I jump out of my seat every time the phone rings.

That's ok, someone on my month board was actually knotting on her honeymoon.

I don't know, but I'm prrrrrrrretty sure The Knot will be the LAST thing on my mind while I'm on my HM.

What!?! That is absurd! No offense ladies, but you will be the last people I am thinking about while on my HM. I doubt very much I'm going to be thinking of anything other then sexy time and food. I'm just saying.

My car is broken

I forgot my password to 2 of my email accounts (my everyday, and wedding) And Yahoo! and AT&T each say the other is the only one that can help me recover the password. So I'm getting nowhere

I have a paper due tonight, that i have barely started, and cant focus on because of the 2 previously mentioned issues

I called into work today because of my car

BUT! on a brighter note ... someone I know (and is close to FI's family) who runs a bridal boutique has offered to help me put together my color scheme, and pick out stuff for the wedding   That was an amazing gesture! and I cant wait to take her up on it.

HAHAHA, and so very true!

Bad turned good, I had to get a new appraisal for my ring, the first place I went only has it in house once a month (not until 8/26) and cost $90.  I called a local jeweler and they are doing it right now for only $35.  Yay for saving money!

i would just like to say that there are some folks on these boards (not the DFW boards, but the knot boards in general) who are a little too concerned with other people being too "matchy matchy" and not enough concerned with their own behavior being too "judgy judgy". that's all.

well, maybe not ALL. when someone asks a question in good faith, why not try answering the question kindly instead of jumping to conclusions and deeming her selfish and rude?

I actually considered shipping my beautiful multi-hundreds of dollars invitations to Oregon so they could be hand cancelled with a pretty stamp.  Luckily, in the middle of my post office, I went WTH am I thinking??

I really hope I get my period today.

I hate my attitude lately. I'm the type of person who can be happy in any situation, but I am so unsatisfied by my job right now. I'm so grateful that my former employers were able to give me some work when I came back from Nashville, but I've been back for almost as long as I was gone. I'm really ready for a full time, professional job, and I'm really really ready for us to be out of my parents' house. I just can't shake this funk I'm in.
