So, I'm about to sign some contracts and to be honest... it SCARES me!
Hiring a vendor isn't what scares me, but just the length of some of their contracts and their wording. I can't even understand or make sense of what they are trying to say. Not to mention that some are filled with typos.
Is this the norm?

Re: Contracts
If you don't understand ASK!! A good, trustworthy vendor will explain all aspects of their contract if you dont understand. Just don't sign anything if you are not sure....it could leave to a headache down the road
Personally, I wouldn't sign with anyone who had a contract filled with typo's. That's just really unprofessional.
This one contract was filled with legal words and everything sounded repeatitive. I contacted the vendor and they were very nice about it. They said their office manager must of sent a draft or something, she would send me one yesterday. They said they would explain it to me as well...it never came. I moved on!
It made me sad because I was in LOVE with them, but like TIffany said that seems very unprofessional.
