Ordering Bridesmaids Dresses

Hi Ladies,

I was just wondering at what time period did you order the bridesmaid's dresses? 8 months? 6 months?

We officially placed our order around 7 months out. I had them in my hands about 2 1/2 months before the wedding. I ordered them early to make sure the girls had them in time to find shoes, jewelry and get any alterations they needed taken care of.

I think 4-6 months is the norm--chains like AA and DB will have them faster.  We used DB and I think we had ours closer to 2-3 months.

My girls have ordered their at 6,5, and 4 months out from DB and all got their dresses in about 2 weeks. I ordered the last ones 2 weeks ago bc someone said DB told them this is getting into busy season and blah blah blah and it was in in 10 days! Not sure on other places tho. GL!

I think it depends on where you order them from.  I ordered a Watters Too dress from a boutique and it took a few months.  My bridesmaids all ordered their dresses from David's Bridal and each one came within two weeks.
