Hobby Lobby scares me...

Does anyone walk into Hobby Lobby to get some ideas and get overwhelmed??

I ran out like a puppy with my tail between my legs.

HA HA that's hilarious!!  I love that place, but I know what you mean.  I could spend a couple hours in there, going up and down all the aisles just coming up with stuff!!!  You're not the only one!

Yes!!! That's why my mom was in charge of all DIY stuff for our wedding. That's her area of expertise, not mine! Hobby Lobby is like her second home!

Every time I talk to her, "Hey mom, what's up?"
"Oh nothing, just got home from hobby lobby"
    What else is new!!!

I love Hobby Lobby! I was **this close to getting the stuff to make frosted glass. I don't like that they are closed on Sunday though. :-( It is like Chik-fil-a. I will be thinking "Lets go to Hobby Lobby" "We can't, it's closed!" "Aw Fu---dgecicle."

I went there/Michaels/JoAnn's at least twice a week before my wedding.  What's funny is I rarely actually bought much of anything.    I "vowed" to never go back.

I did recently give in and go to Hobby Lobby, where I found their entire Christmas stock out already at the end of August.   That made me want to run far, far away.

Haha .. yeah that's me too Brianna... I go in there and I feel like the air is getting heavier, and I start getting disoriented and try to find what I need and get out quickly.

I went in there a handful of times for the wedding, and I think I am all Hobby Lobbied out for a few years to come.

Lol. I just walk in and go straight to the wedding section. When I start looking around too much I just get a headache.
It's going to be a lovely day!!!

I've gone in a couple times and I just get more ideas I don't need. I try to stay out unless there is a purpose for going in there.

Me too! I went in a few weeks ago with FMIL and FSIL. Being there and with them and all their ideas really stressed me out. Too much to think about and see. Undecided

The people at hobby lobby drive me nuts. I went in once and asked where I could find something (I don't remember what.) The employee replied "In the craft section." I said "Seriously? Your whole store is a craft section," and made him give me more specific directions.

Laura, that made me LOL.  You're right though, the whole thing, except for maybe the little picture frame section, is the craft section.

Actually, that is the reason I love it. As soon as the fall stuff comes out, I go there just to look, every couple weeks. Usually when I have a bad day. But I'm kind of a freak like that

hehe I love it for Christmas stuff. When I last went there, the Christmas stuff was 40% and DH and my mom had to drag me away. I get so estatic looking at it. lol

My mom went in there to look at bridal stuff then took me back to show this huge box of white bows we can put on the ends of pews/candles (not sure what I'm doing except rose pedals down the isle on the sides), and I wasn't really impressed with the bridal section. Lots of things looked "cheap". Their boquets were like 40.00 for silk flowers...you can get the real thing for maybe less than that! I may go back when it's closer to look again...but til then I'll be going for other non wedding stuff!! :-)
