Looking for a great wedding band in Dallas that's not too expensive!!

My wedding is 10/6/12 in Plano and we are looking for a really fun band to play at our reception. I have heard stories of people being disappointed with their bands and we don't want that to happen! We also don't want to spend a fortune...so if anyone has any recommendations for a band or if you think we should stick with a DJ please let me know

Bands can get pretty pricy. I'm not sure what you mean by inexpensive as that means different things to different people. Do you mind sharing your budget for a band?

I shopped around, as my father and I wanted a band very bad, even though I don't have the biggest budget. The best price I could find was Signature Band, and we booked them. I liked the sound clips, but I've never heard them live. Check out their site.

I don't know anything about their price, but rlwais used Identity Theft and from her pics, they looked ridiculously amazing.

What kind of band do you like?

The John Lewis Band played at my wedding, but I have a relative in the band so they gave me a great price and they have done other weddings. They are a Texas-funk band, so not a traditional wedding band. One of the band members is also a DJ and he is great. It's like getting 2 for the price of 1.
