Hey Ladies,

I was supposed to have my hairdresser do my hair for the wedding, but that is not going to work out.  I know we've got the vendor sticky at the top but I'd like to hear some recs from y'all too.

    Mine works out of Frisco, but travels. Her name is Lauren with Green Peridot.  This is her pricing (from her e-mail when she and I initially started talking.)

    $100 travel fee to cover gas and all that, then each face is $45, and false lashes are $10 which includes application and lashes. A bridal updo is $65 which includes a trial evening where we can play with a few different looks before your big day, plus I will have a travel size hairspray for you to keep to touch-up flyaways and for any other minor hair "emergencies". Bridesmaid updos are $45 and I request that if possible, they bring pictures of things they like/would like to have. I can also work in hairpieces but depending on what they are it is $10-$30 extra since some are more difficult to work with than others.

    Angie Williams did my hair and makeup.  I absolutely adore her.

    I also went to Visible Changes in Collin Creek Mall and got an updo for a friend's wedding for like $40.

    I went to visible changes in high school for some event, prom I suppose!  How funny.  That's right by me.  I could definitely look into that again.  :)  Thanks for Angie's name too.  Can you pm me her info?

    I think it was just under $800 to get hair and makeup for me, my mom, and five of my bridesmaids.  I thought it was a great deal.

    I also used Angie WIlliams, and she was amazing to work with. She doesn't charge for travel (as long as you are within 50-ish miles), and an assistant is included with the price.

    I'm using Angie, too! I haven't had my trial yet, though, so I can't speak from personal experience yet.
