Wedding Reception DJ

I am in need of a great DJ for our wedding reception. We would love to get someone good, at a great price. Any ideas/suggestions? The wedding is in Arlington, TX.

Thanks!

I, along with a few other girls, have booked Meldoy with Melodies and Memories: http://melmemdj.com/

I've seen a lot of other gals brag about Glenn Roush: http://www.roushweddings.com/

My DJ was Glenn Roush and I highly recommend him if he's in your budget.  We absolutely loved him.

i really liked glenn roush when i met him (i'm biased because we went to the same college), but i ended up going with stephen james. he acts as DJ and his wife acts as a DOC. i really liked their personalities as well and my venue coordinator said that they were great.

We are using Complete Music. I have worked with the company previously and have been impressed with their professionalism and non-corny-ness :)

Our quote was $795 for 5 hours, and you can select one of probably 12 different DJ's that they have on staff. HTH!

We are using Figment Productions they super sweet couple and work together the night of your wedding. They are very reasonable as they quoted me $575 for 4 hrs.  Good luck!

I used Marshall Argovitz, and loved him... I've had about as many compliments on his work as I got for any other part of the wedding.  He was really fun, and kept people dancing all night (even some I wouldn't have expected to be on the dancefloor even once!).  I highly recommend him.

Budget wise, I have no idea... he travelled a couple hours each way for my wedding, and didn't impose any time limits - we had him for the whole Saturday evening and he charged me $850.

I used Andrew with A Music Wave and he was non-cheesy and easy to work with. He charged $490 for 5 hours on a Saturday night.

I can tell you not to use Dallas Sound and Light.  He lost a bunch of my music so luckily we had my computer there to use.  He also tried to put the blame on one of my bridesmaids.  Unacceptable seeing as how I hand delivered him the cds.  grrr

    Melody Melody Melody!

    Melodies and Memories

She did our wedding 5/09 and people are STILL talking about how much fun they had - she did a wedding for some friends of mine last weekend and again was a huge hit!  Price is very reasonable (downright inexpensive compared to the service you receive) and she really can personalize every detail for you both!

Tell her lauren and ross sentcha!
