so my FI and i just bought a house, but I am still living with my parents until we get married. our house is starting to get filled with gifts from showers and ones that have been sent to us. i want to start organizing and putting things away, but i have heard that you are not supposed to use the gifts until after the wedding. is it acceptable to open them and put them away but not use them??
