This is my first time surfing the registry boards, and to my suprise I find a lot of you saying that telling people where you're registered at somewhere in the invites is tacky. I actually thought about it and it makes a little sense. However, in my community/circle, every wedding or shower I have ever been to has a list of stores where they are registered. I don't expect people to give gifts, I just simply want to make it eaiser on people who want to get us something other than cash, and something, period. Also it seems kind of silly to register at stores, and not tell people where you are registered at, it seems like a waste.
Basically, is it okay to include the stores where we are registered if it is the norm is our area?
