Hello!
My fiance and I are getting married in my home state (WY), and having a second reception in his home state (MI). We live in AZ, and we're struggling with how to complete registries that include items that we can't carry on an airplane with us, but might also cost a small fortune to ship. We aren't planning to drive to either location (not enough vacation time for that).
Will it be horribly tacky to return any actual gifts we receive and re-purchase them in AZ? How can I word some text on our wedding website to encourage guests to take advantage of gift shipping options from BBB or Target or Amazon? I know it's tacky to straight up ask for cash or giftcards (even though that would logistically be easier).
