Payless cookware - Reviews & Ettiquette

First of all, has anyone bought cookware from these guys?  Is it any good?  Does it warp, discolor, get hotspots?

Second, I am not registering for any cookware.  You cannot register on this site, but would it be okay for me to put their link on the registries page of my wedding website, or should I just let it go word of mouth?  The only people who would spend this much would either be my parents or grandmother, or possibly FI's parents unless people pooled.

Edit: Their website paylesscookware.com

  • I have never heard of their cookware.

Based on what you said that the only people who would spend that much are your parents/FI's parents, I woudl not put it on your registry.  Just tell them you'd like it and they will probably buy it for you. Or if not, just use gift money to get it.

I also wouldn't list it since your guests might see it but not have any idea what you actually want (like colors, types of pots, etc).  So it makes it much harder for them to buy and I doubt anyone would use it.

    I googled it.

It's cast iron cookware, about $40 for the 4 piece starter set.
