whats the most $$ thing youve put on your registry? I feel SOOO guilty putting a $450 dyson on my registry! LOL   Is this normal or am I way out of line by asking for this?

It's fine.  Either someone will buy it or they won't.  No one will side-eye a vacuum cleaner.

For the record, our most expensive item is an iPad.  Most of our items are non-traditional because we've been on our own for over a decade each - we registered for things we both want and would both use.

ok - yeah weve been living together for over 6 yrs now....so we have stuff, but would like to upgrade to" nicer things" . .. ...but i felt wierd asking for such an expensive thing!
