Registry info

Where is a good place to mention it? We have a wedding website which we put on the STD's and no I don't plan on putting them in the invite. People keep asking and I kind of want to make it easier on everyone without coming off as being tacky. Is the wedding website a good place for that?

Re: Registry info

  • I would include a link to the registries on the wedding website.  Some poeple dont even like doing that.  It's supposed to be word of mouth only, but I had a registry tab on my website and nobody had been offended yet!

Stick it on your website.  There's no problem with doing that.

  • Yes, I posted it on my wedding website as well.  It's so easy for your guests, and definitely ok from an etiquette perspective.
  • We had ours on our wedding website, and my MOH put the on my shower invites as well.

Ours in on our Website. We made it to the very last tab too and have lots of other information on the site about directions, transportation and accommodations so as not to make it seem as though the web site only exists to announce our registry.

  • we put our on our wedding blog as well as our wedding facebook group.  our mothers also did a good job of informing people.
