Oh also we're going to see Dark Knight tonight. FI was very upset that we were on HM during the midnight showing.

I don't really have any AW's at the moment. Today is my Friday though! Also, I get to take a tour of TCU's 'core' storage facility for their geology department today and I'm a nerd, so I'm kind of excited about it.

Hey everybody, I lurk a lot on the forums, but saw what AW Thursday stands for so I gotta brag.  Today my fiance and I are going to book our venue at Four Seasons for September 1, 2013!  We're very excited because our wedding is going to be epic.

AW: My wedding highlights film preview is done  link is in my siggy (the home page). I sent it to my mom and she loved it  

My grandpa crying gets me every time (my grandparents pretty much raised me). Memories films is who filmed our day. 

I also can't wait to see Dark Knight. We are waiting till an obscure time some obscure day to go see it in IMAX, since Christopher Nolan shot it on IMAX.  (I refuse to deal with douchey teenagers). 

EJ- Do you mean like geological sample cores? That sounds neat!

LAFF of the day - A client just told me that our business of doing events is offensive because our contract states that payment is due in full by the conclusion of their event. Their event is today and they have yet to pay a dime.

I told them I am not tryingot be offensive, I am just following the guidelines in place by our corporate accounting department. That jusst set my contact off more.

Oh my goodness, that got me too!  Wow, I love it and I love your married bio too.  And I loved your sweet husband's face when he saw you at the ceremony--as OMHs we try and tell other brides that doing a first look doesn't take anything away from the ceremony and his face just proves it!

Thanks so much! Funny enough, that was his reaction as he was waiting and they were opening the doors (good enough, right?).<img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /> He actually did start really tearing up when I walked down the aisle and it was so sweet- and it was even <u style="font-weight:bold;">better</u> reaction! Ash/Amanda: Yes, geological core cutting samples. We were taking some of my company's sampels (because we need a place to store them - and students will be able to use them for research). The guy who runs the place told us all about the testing that they do there. They mostly have Barnett Shale samples. Pretty cool though! *end nerd talk* It also entailed a free lunch at Mellow Mushroom, so it was a win-win really.

ETA: Amanda, can you post a direct link to the video? I can't get on weebly pages at work, and having to wait until I get home would be torture!

It is super interesting, that's for sure. At that lab I don't think they're so much interested as enivormental factors as they are just the rock itself...but it's still cool.
