Bridezilla Part 2

I just finished watching the 2nd part of Ivy's story on Bridezilla.  I don't think she was bad at all and her mom was in the wrong for picking a white dress.  Yes she had her freak out moment but I think anybody would have.

Also I felt for the other bride who had bridemaids that were either no shows or hours late to things.

What is everyone else's thoughts/opinions?

I think that her mother was COMPLETELY in the wrong with the white dress, and then yelling and telling her f you and throwing stuff.... I'm so glad that someone stepped in and told her to calm down and stop.  I think that Ivy handled herself very well in the situation, I can't see anyone being happy about their mom wearing white.  Overall, I really don't think that Ivy was bad at all.

The other bride - how many times do you play musical chairs with the bridesmaids!?!

I have not had a chance to watch either show yet, but they are on my DVR, and when i get off work in the morning at 7 a.m.. I am gonna sit with my cup of coffee and watch them! but someone i work with said Ivy was not that bad, other than when she was yelling at her mom, but i would do the same thing if she would have worn white to my wedding!

I agree, I would have been upset if my mom wore white, and even more upset if she said "F your wedding, and F you".

I agree with pp the mom was way out of line both with the dress and how she reacted I would have been mortified if my mother acted like that and said those things on my wedding day.  Same with the 1st episode the shrieking I could have done without but  I definately think the other bride was crazy with bridesmaids being in then out then back in.

I would not say her mom was wrong. I think her mom my not have truly known better due to cultural differences. I liked how they worked it out with the 1-2-3 apology. Some of the reactions on both side my have been overblown. The mom's language was a bit bad. At the same time all of the yelling and screaming on the part of the bride was a bit immature in my opinion.

Her mom yelling was scaring me through the TV-- I thought I was going to get in trouble! :P
I would've been upset about the white dress, but I'm glad to see that at the end of the day it didn't look like it mattered. Her mom looked nice and I don't think she took away from Ivy's look.

Ivy--I think you were the least "Bridezilla" of all the ones I've seen on the show.

I watched it last night.  Honestly, the whole thing (just Ivy--I didn't watch the other bride) seemed contrived.  I've never seen the show so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.  But I didn't really buy any of it.  The mom was so over the top as to be ridiculous.  Who acts like that really?  And Ivy and Kenneth seem like nice people.  It all seemed a little forced to me and too much like an act.  As in, Ivy is not really a Bridezilla--she just played one on TV.

    thanks to all the responses.
the show was fun to film, but having an entire film crew at your wedding is not suggested, there is a lot more drama they didn't include, thank goodness!
