I feel a little better now.  Thanks ladies.  I didn't realize they were that common but reading up on them, they are.  Emi, at first I was thinking "oh crap" but I realized that you mean't NOT to worry, lol.  My biggest fear is that it would affect getting pregnant but I am just going to be proactive about this and get checked regularily.  

Shortgirl, I went to visit a friend in NYC in February two years ago and it was the coldest I have ever been in my life....besides the time I went to Salt Lake City one winter.  Ugh.

Well it looks like the Knot is working for me now... yay!

I am one huge bundle of nerves today.   I'm really unsettled about my venue changing wedding coordinators with no one letting us know at all.   The only reason I know is because I emailed to find out our rehearsal dinner date and another person responded.

That's just really unprofessional IMO....but I'm waiting for an explanation.

They also booked an event the evening before our wedding so I've got no clue when to do the RD.

Tiffany, since our wedding was at a B&B we had to have our rehearsal on Friday at 3:00.  It sucked having it early, but that's the only time it would work.

Dang... well our wedding is on a Friday night.... so I was planning for it on Thursday evening and then booking a suite for my bridesmaids and I. That way we were already there.

Now she tells me they have Wednesday available.  Ugh.  I don't want to take up 2 week days when they are already taking Friday off for us.  I almost want to ask if we can do it the prior Sunday afternoon and then have a rehearsal brunch/lunch or something.   That or just rehearse the day of the wedding and do a thank you dinner the week before or something.

Hi.  I'm new, so all my bio stuff is in progress (and probably done incorrectly).  I'm frustrated b/c something is wrong with Fox on my cable and I had to miss American Idol.  I'm even more frustrated that the technician that looked at it today said it was my the tuner on my TV to blame.  Triple the frustration with my TV only being a couple of years old.  Also, I keep trying to book vendors and my date is always taken!!  NINE MONTHS away - I only wish I would have found this board earlier.  That's all.  Thanks.

Thanks Tiffany.  Well, we have a venue and a florist.  I have been looking for a photographer.  I found one through one of the girls on the knot - her husband is a photographer.  But, I emailed him and he is already booked.  I guess I'm just frustrated because that keeps happening to me.  I initially wanted a different venue in McKinney, but when I called to book it someone had called earlier that day to book my date.  And that was 13 months before my date.  (sigh).

Ohh I got it.  I think Chelsea McGowan said she had some openings in October.  She is our photographer and we absolutely love her!   Last I saw she was almost booked for a year, but could be worth a try!  www.mcgowanimages.com
