Something added to registry?

So I just went on my registry to add an iron because I keep forgetting to do that and something has been bought and added to the registry.  The only thing I can think is that someone went to Bed, Bath and Beyond to get a gift and bought this item for their home and it was added to the registry as a gift for us somehow?  I can see picking up something that someone feels like we might have left off the list, that is super important, but shelf liner is kind of random, don't you think?

Has anyone had that happen?

Yeah, that happens with BB&B.  If the salesperson rings it all up together, then other random things can get added to your registry as "Wants: 0, Receiving: 1" or whatever.   

For shelf liner, I think you're safe to delete it from the registry.  For other things that you think you might actualy be receiving (but don't want!), I would keep it on there -- it MAY be easier to return something if it was on your registry (especially something you didn't request) without a gift receipt because the registry addition is a record that it was purchased at BB&B.

It's also possible the person bought the shelf liner for themselves, but in the same transaction as your registry gift, so everything in that transaction would show up on the registry list then. I wouldn't worry about it.

I just thought it was funny to see it on the registry like, requested: 0 bought:1.  Its NBD if someone thinks I need something not on the registry, but I'm pretty sure this was something someone was buying for their own use.

You can always just wait and find out. The person that bought us our vintage inspired popcorn maker from BB&B bought us a kit of kernals and seasonings as well that we hadn't requested. It's NBD either way, so why worry about it?
