We went with Crate & Barrel, Macy's and BBB. I like them in that order with C&B being the best.

I picked Amazon, because you can find almost everything there. But, I would have picked Crate and Barrel had it been a choice. IRL I registered at C&B, Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond. Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond are both fine. But, the Macy's pricing annoys me and I also don't like that many of the smaller kitchen gadgets are not available to buy online. BBB has a wide selection and their website and registry are easy to use, but I have had quality issues with many of their items.

Bed, Bath and Beyond. They have a lot of the same/equal quality stuff as Williams Sonoma, but at a cheaper price.

I tend to think that a large amount of things sold in Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma and Crate and Barrel are overpriced and not the quality you'd expect from those stores. Kinda like J Crew - beautiful shirt, but up close it's paper thin and it has holes after one trip through the wash. Of course not everything falls into that category, but some products most certainly do.

Do you know you can get the same baking tins at The Christmas Tree Shop for a few dollars off season that they sell in the Williams Sonoma for $30? True story.

Macys is our main registry. We are doing a second one at BBB for things like cooking utensils and things like that but Macys had all the things we like and we have a Macys card and it gives us rewards and things so we're good there!

I'd do BBB. I'd want to pick a place that all/most my guests have access to--not everyone has a Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, etc., but most moderate-sized cities have a BBB. Plus they have almost anything you could want for your home.
