When to send invitations?????

My wedding is July 14th, 2012 and the knot says to send your invitations out at the three month mark which was yesterday for me.  I have them addressed and stamped, but still think that it is too early.  We sent our save the dates; therefore everyknows they are invited.  We have a lot of out of town guests so I am not sure what to do.  When do you advise I send them out?  I am so anxious and excited to do so but I don't want to do it too early!  Thanks!!

I'm getting married the same day as you and I am sending them out the second week fo May. I think knowing my family 3 months out they would all forget and invitations would get lost. My RSVP date is June 13th, so it depends on your RSVP date as well. Littlemoments did a big post about this a few days ago. Clicky for everyone's answers.

We are holding out sending them until mid-May, that is plenty of enough time for people to make a decision and respond.  We sent out STD's to all OOT's so those people already know to make travel arrangements.  I think 3 months is a bit early unless you didn't send out STD's or it a DW.

I getting married the day before you and I am sending mine out at the beginning of may with a June 15th RSVP date.
