Groomsmen gifts???

I am looking for some good ideas for groomsmen gifts.  I want to stay away from the played-out things like flasks, pilsners, moneyclips, etc.  I was thinking of personalized maglite flashlights, but can't find a place that does them, or maybe a personalized cooler.  Any ideas would be appreciated!! Thanks!!

  • I love RedEnvelope.com for gifts.  They have a lot of stuff that can be personalized, and some cool men's gifts (shaving kits, cuff links, pub signs, belt buckles).  Their gifts are slightly on the expensive side, but I've ordered (and received!) lots of gifts from them and they are always of very high quality and very nicely packaged.

  • We only have one Best man/Groomsman, FI's granddad.  We wanted to give him something he'd like and use again so we decided on a personalized pocket watch.  I think if you find something you genuinely think they'll like and use, then it'll be a great gift!

  • I don't know if this is played out or not, but if you are somewhat crafty there are lots of very easy DIY how to's on how to make cufflings that are unique and personalized.

For our wedding we are creating personalized beer bottle top cufflings that match the favorite beer of each groomsmen. You can also use legos, poker chips, coins, etc. They are inexpensive but very heartfelt and special and each guy gets to personalize his look a little on the wedding day.
