Album Company Recs

I was thinking about making a simple album of pictures we took while on our honeymoon and was needing some album company recs.  I went back a few pages and saw posts about Shutterfly and Blurb, but are there any others out there?

My budget is probably around $100.  I'm not sure how many pictures I want to include in it, but I would like a nice variety of templates.  I would also like thicker pages on the album as well.

Finally, would it be impossible to get an album for $100 that has the pages that lay flat?  I love the way those albums look, but I know they are pricey.

Thanks!

When I was still in Omaha this company was at a bridal show and I remember being very impressed by the quality of their albums for the prices.  They are located in omaha but do a lot of online work and I will still be using them for bridesmaid albums.  Their pages are a little thicker than others I have seen but they do not do the flush mount albums and most of those for pretty small ones start around 600.00.

Here is the website to the place in omaha it might be worth a look.

Stephie had a good review of Somerset Albums layflat in her bio.  I think it's quite a bit more than $100 though.

For that budget, you might check out Mpix.com, adorama, etc.

The only do it yourself company that has flush mounting is Picaboo. I used them for my wedding album and was very pleased. That being said, they were pricy.

There was a groupon a couple days ago for A&I Books. I had never heard of them, but they offer the layflat pages and their prices didn't seem outrageous to me. I *think* you could get what you want for your budget.

This is not true actually.  There is Nations Photo Lab and Somerset, which is who I used.

Steph, you might look at Somerset's photo books--they are probably a step above Blurb, Shutterfly, etc.  For a flushmount album, you are looking at well over $100.

I looked at Mpix but I don't think they provide templates which scared me.  If you are not afraid of designing it yourself though, that might be a good option.

Thanks for all the recs!  I guess I can live without a flushmount album since they are way over my budget.  :)  Now I have lots of research to do.

If you have a Costco membership, they have nice ones that are very reasonable

I tried to look at Blurb and Mpix, but I found shutterfly to be the most user friendly although even with that it took a few hours and some patience.

I should be receiving my book today or tomorrow... I got a 26 page, soft cover with photo for about $42. They were having a special and I had a $20 gift card that I got from Target ( originally we were thinking of registering there and got their sign up packet but then changed our minds but I put that coupon to good use).
