we came home after a long, long flight (three, to be exact) to find two big boxes for us - our first wedding presents! interestingly, they came from two older couples, who are still very much in love. I thought it was really sweet that they were excited enough when they got the save the dates (which just went out last week) that they took the time to visit our wedding website, look at the registries and send gifts already. Wine glasses and a paella dish -- with very cute notes about how we'll enjoy them together.
I hope in 30 years FI and I are doing the same for some younger couples!!
