Whenever I see a brunch reception, I don't know why they aren't more popular.  I  wish we had considered it more seriously. 

My husband has got to stop calling me so much at work.  Seriously.  What we got in the mail really can wait until I get home.

I have no self control. I just want to lose 8lbs before the wedding, and I can't stop eating. I lose a few and then gain them right back.
I tried to start this "diet" 5 months ago, and I keep telling myself, I will REALLY start with 4 months until the wedding, 3 months until the wedding, 2 months until the wedding.. and now here we are with 1 month to go and my first dress fitting tomorrow.
And I ate 2 slices of pizza and a cookie for lunch. They were the smallest pieces I could find from all the boxes they served us for Hawaiian Friday lunch.. but it was still pizza and a cookie.

Today is my 3 year anniversary at work.  I used to have an anniversary buddy who was hired the same time I was, but she quit last year and now I don't have anyone to go celebrate with.

While I'm grateful to have a job, sometimes I think I should go elsewhere.  In the 3 years I've been here I haven't gotten a raise or a bonus, and I've actually taken a 5% salary cut.  David, on the other hand, has been at his company for 2 years and he's gotten both a raise and a bonus.

i got a hot date tonight!!!! ... with my wonderful FI!!!!! bought a sexy new short tight black skirt and dress top (and underneath wear as well ).

can't wait til i go to my friend's co-ed pampered chef party tomorrow either. don't know how i talked my FI into it!

Ditto.  My FI and I joke that the true love of our lives is actually food, and that having eachother is like the 6th course.

Over lunch I called Becky to make an appointment for alterations, August 3 is the special day.  Haven't tried my dress on since I purchased it back in April, even though it's hanging on the closet door in the guest bedroom.  Kind of nervous considering I didn't love it when I purchased it and now it's far too late to make a wardrobe change.

Hooray Friday.  Tomorrow I'm trying my dress on with a petticoat - or crinoline or whatever that poofy underskirt thing is called.  My shoes are in and I have jewelry.  I also ordered invites.  And at this time next Friday I will be taking a test.  (and then I'll finally shut up about it.)

I am disappointed that my in-laws didn't appologize like I thought they would.(An unread forwarded email is just trouble.) I know they feel bad. I guess I have found the one relative in FI's family to beware of when it comes to holidays.

My entire office just went to the Movie Tavern at lunch and saw Predators. It wasn't that great and not a movie I would have paid to see myself, but hey...movies instead of work? Yes, please.

My photographer blogged two weddings she recently shot and I have to admit I was relieved when I saw the pictures as they were quite good. For our e-pics nearly every single shot was taken with her holding the camera at an angle. It was nauseating to look through our e-pic scrapbook because of all the twisting and turning. Photography was something that was relatively important to me and low for my FI, so we compromised on a low to mid range photographer. Shame on me, I know.

I was good and went to the gym at lunch for the 24SET class and now getting ready to go meet a potential officiant for the wedding.  Hopefully I won't have to come back to work!

Saturday:
1)  go check on the status of my dress at the alterations lady.  (Very nervous about it because of the language barrier...I just hope she understood what I wanted done)
2)  a wedding
3)  a birthday party

Sunday:
1)  bridal shower
2)  possibly assemble my invitations

I sent out our STDs without waiting for my dad to finish getting addresses for 10 people on his list.  He's had over a year (with recent reminders in the past 3 weeks) to get those addresses, and I didn't want to make all the others wait.  I still have the stuff to send out his whenever he does get around to it, my mom said not to hold my breath.
