My fiance and I have been together over 6 years and have lived together 5 out of those six years. We already have a household set up and honestly, we don't really need or want anything for our house. We just recently updated our decor and we love our dishes, appliances, linens (and we really don't have the extra space for anything). I tried to set up one registry and only came up with 6 items. So, is okay to not register? If so, what do we tell friends and family? We don't want our guests to feel like to have to give us anything, but simply come and enjoy our day. However, some of my family members have already mentioned that people are going to want to give a gift. So, do we ask for monetary gifts? Just not sure how to handle this without offending anyone. Any advice would be great!
