Bedding help

I'm having a bit of trouble finding bedding I like. I've looked online at many stores, but I haven't found that much I like. And even if I do like them, they are a bit out of my and my family's price range.

Here's one by Hotel Collection I did like. It's simple, but not completely plain. But each pillow is at least $95.

Does anyone have advice on where to find nicely designed and reasonably priced bedding? I'm registered at three stores (Macy's, Crate & Barrel and Bed Bath) but if I have to buy something myself elsewhere, I don't mind.

Thanks!

I've bought stuff off smartbargains dot com - REALLY awesome stuff that's REALLY inexpensive...nice 600+ threadcount sheets were under $80 (a whole king set!).  Check it out.

I looked at Wal-Mart, Target, and Macy's because that is where we are registered; I didn't find ANYTHING I liked. I looked at Kohls.com and found several that I really love. I ended up making a fourth registry, with just that item, just because I love it so much. I would try looking there!

FIrst of all I agree, Hotel Collection is AMAZING.  It was the first set we found that we loved but then realized it would cost well over a grand for our bedding...and we can't justify it.  If you don't find anything you like at the places you registered, try other stores and just use wedding money to buy it yourselves (if it is customary in your family to give cash).
We decided not to register for bedding at all because our dog keeps destroying every pillow and comforter we have, so until we get that in check we won't buy/register for anything new.

I bought our bedding ourselves at TJ Maxx.  I looked at Macy's, C&B and BBB and they are just TOO expensive.  It is not worth it to me.  If our guests were goign to spend that kind of money, I'd rather they spend it on other things.  So I kept looking at Marshall's and TJ Max until I foudn a set I love.  it was $50 for a duvet cover set and we got a down alternative duvet (by Ralph Lauren!) for $50 as well.  I got our entire bed for $100.  Isn't that way better than just one pillow?  <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />
