gift ideas for an AWESOME maid of honor-

My maid of honor is purchasing our wedding cake as our wedding gift which is amazing. I have an huge guest list which means our cake is costing a small fortune.  I want to get my maid of honor a special gift aside from all the other gifts that I got for the other girls standing up (planning to give her this "special gift" when the other girls arent around) but I am stuck on what to get.  Our cake is costing roughly $1,000.00 so I would like to get her a nice gift.

ideas? shes real in to coach bags.... would that be lame?

You would know her best.  Do you have a particular price point in mind? If so, if you were buying her a birthday gift with that money, what would you buy her?

I don't think the Coach bag is a bad idea.  If this is something she likes then go for it.  Keep in mind, this is something super nice that she wanted to do as a gift to you and FI.  A simple thank you card should suffice.  I never say thanks for a gift with another gift.

one of the girls on my month club board got a personalized photo frame with both of their names and a cute saying carved in the wood....i think she got it from thingsremembered and it was really cute!!

My fiance and I were thinking of something above and beyond for our wonderful  BM and MOH. I think we're going to get concert tickets and rent a limo and go all out on a fun night of dinner drinks and a concert. I think spending a fun night together will be more meaningful than a gift... but since you mentioned a coach bag I'm rethinking this, what girl doesnt love a coach bag, or wallet?! hmmm....

A coach bag would be great! Or you could get her something from Tiffany's! Who doesn't love a little blue box? Maybe something personalized? Or one of the letter/lock pieces? Or maybe a spa day? That would be a great gift.

Get her a coach bag & fill it with little useful stuff she'd like and appreciate (do you know what kind of make up she uses?)

I got mine a Kindle and she about peed her pants, because it's something she never would have purchased for herself. I think as long as you put thought into it, and really know it's something she will love (like a Coach bag!) you can't go wrong.

I think a Coach bag is a great idea if she's into that! Can you get her a gift card from the Coach website so she can pick her own maybe? (I don't go on their website so that might be a dumb question)
