How Much?

Posting this for a banned memeber:

"my FI and were invited to his cousin's wedding, but we aren't going. so we decided to send them money. but i can't figure out how much to send? my FI was thinking like $150, but i was thinking more of $200-$250. they are FIRST cousins and they practically did grow up together, they just aren't as close anymore. $250 too much, or not enough?"



I personally thought $150 is great considering they aren't going to the wedding, but that's just me.

Tell mrsjoshuaparker4 that she can give whatever is in her budget. She should know what is standard in her social circle and locale.

Whatever fits in the budget.  Personally, I always give a little less if I'm not able to attend the wedding.

I would suggest that you stop "relaying" messages before you get banned too.  People don't get banned for no reason so obviously MrsJP is trouble that you should stay away from.  Although I suspect you 2 are 1 in the same.

This is a typical Mrs.JP post....just posting to post. Really? She needs help knowing how much to spend on a gift? You spend what you can afford, of course. It's not rocket science.
