Ok, so I am not technically engaged yet. The ring is on layaway, the date is set, the venue is booked...whatever. So obviously I know to wait until the ring is on my finger to start my registry, but how soon after the big question do I get to start? Or does it depend on the length of the engagement (we're getting married in September of next year)? I am the first of my friends to get married and I don't have anyone else to ask about silly stuff like this. Also, any recommendations as to where I should register? I was thinking Target, Kohl's, etc...but I don't really know. And one more question. We already live together and have a lot of kitchen stuff. While I'm not opposed to new kitches stuff, what else should go on the registry? Thanks in advance.
Oh, and PS- I sincerely hope this doesn't make me seem greedy. I am just in the crazy beginning stages of planning and want to get a handle on everything so I don't get overwhelmed later!
