Letting them know

How are you letting your guests know where you are registered at?

Re: Letting them know

  • Word of mouth, and only when asked.

  • I'm going to put it on my wedding website. On our save the dates, we're putting the URL for our website so guests can find out hotel info, directions, etc. before invites are actually mailed. They can find out this way. Also, tell parents and bridal party members so they can pass the word if asked. Also, I bet a lot of guests will just ask you and your FI and you can tell them.

  • We had ours on our wedding website, and the shower invitations.  We did have some people who would ask family and friends as well so they also spread the word.

  • Ours is on our wedding website, and I'm sure people will be asking my mom when the time comes. Really word of mouth is the best way to do it. Wedding websites are generally accepted, but even that is pushing it. We put it in a very discrete corner of the site and I'm not sure if any of our older, more traditional guests will find that tacky (although I have a feeling that anyone who would find it tacky probably doesnt know how to use the internet anyhow).

  • Don't leave your guests guessing where you are registered. They just want to know. Put the info on a wedding website or have the host of your shower put them in the invite. If the host puts it in the invite, then it is them telling your guests where you are registered, and not you telling your guests.
