Obviously this has been asked a million gazillion times however I'm helping a friend who is currently a student, graduating soon and moving to Paraguay with her equally young fiance as this is where he is from. Due to this, they have asked me if I know of a way to request cash vs. gifts since they will not be able to bring them with them. i.e. gifts = burdon, (my words, not theirs) They of course still need to furnish their apartment in Paraguay. Just hoping people know wont' work because many people are coming to the wedding who likely aren't "up on the latest" like very extended family, friends of their parents and people from church. Have you ever heard a "less offensive" way to ask? If so, PLEASE share
