Texas-Dallas and Ft. Worth

venues

I need help find a cheap venue no more than 1,000$ that holds 100 ppl and is country in the Dallas area. I live in waxahachie so if u know where that is I want it around the area.

Re: venues

  • I know where that is but I don't know of any venues down that way.

Are there any community centers or lodges in town that you could use? Also, are there any local only restaurants that you could use for your reception?  They probably won't charge a rental fee and that would keep your reception in the area in which you live.

    Good luck!
  • I'm not sure of prices, but check out

    Chapel Creek Manor
    Loma Linda Ranch
    The Greenery/ Old Bision Ranch
    The Rogers Hotel
    Red Oak Commmunity Center
    Waxahachie Community Center
    Midlothian Community Center
B&B linen has a room you can rent above their show room, but it doesn't have wheelchair access.

  • Well, if you want a more 'country' type location, Memories and Milestones of Krum is a nice place.  I don't know how close that is to Waxahachie though.

Sadly, they are nowhere near each other.

Yeah, I haven't lived here long enough to know where all the little towns are in relation to where I live.  ><

I looked it up, and the location we looked at that's closest to you is the Orion Ballroom in south Dallas.  It's a nice space, but it was over $1000, which did include catering, so I don't know if that would work for you or not.
