Blenders, Food Processors and Vacuums

Before my Registry becomes "official" I want to check and see what blenders, food processors and vacuums you registered for.  What did you end up chosing?  Any tips?  Thanks ladies!

Re: Blenders, Food Processors and Vacuums

  • I've had the Magic Bullet blender for years now, and I like it.  When we consolidated our stuff, we kept mine and got rid of DH's standard blender.  I love being able to make an individual smoothie or use one of the smaller sizes to chop veggies or make a sauce.  I also have an immersion blender for soups.

We registered for the KitchenAid KFP750 Food Processor, 12 Cup, and we like it a lot so far.  We picked it because it was highly rated by Cooks Illustrated.

No vacuum, although we've been thinking about getting one.
  • Love our dyson!
We've had it for 4 years and still works great!
  • We registered for a Cuisinart 11-cup food processor and a Kitchenaid 5-speed blender.  We did not register for a vacuum, the Dysons are really expensive, and there are definitely other things on the registry before we need a vacuum.

  • @amymaysa Which Dyson did you regsiter for?  We have hardwood floors and can't decide.

  • I didn't register for any of those things, but I got a Cuisinart food processor for Christmas and love it.  It's 11-cup, I'm not sure which model.  It runs about $150 or so.  It's easy to use, store and wash.

I also have a Shark vacuum that's been great with pets.  It was about $200 and came with a free iron that has also rocked.  It has a detachable canister that you can use on the stairs or as more of a Dirt Devil type device.

  • Food processor - Kitchen Aid

    Vacuum - Dyson ball upright

    Blender - Magic Bullet
  • We have a KitchenAid food processor and I love it.  I got the small size and I really wish that I had gotten the bigger one.  I would use it a lot more.

  • I have a KitchenAid blender and it's awesome.

The Dyson Ball is amazing (I have the "animal" and it's fantastic).

I've never owned a food processor, but we registered for the Cuisinart.

  • We registered for a KA Architect Food Processor. We have a decent blender, so we didn't register for one. IMO, the Dyson vacuums aren't worth the money. We have some carpet, but mostly hardwoods. I found the canister way small and the cord is short. I truly didn't notice that big of a difference in my floors.
