Poll: Groomsmen Gifts personalization help

I'm guessing this is the best board for this... wasn't sure if it was just about gifts for the bride & groom! Our gifts for our groomsmen/ushers is bottles of Woodford Reserve Bourbon. You can get a personalized label on it... but we can't decide what to put on it! Here is the site http://www.woodfordreserve.com/kentucky-bourbon-personalized-labels

Thanks for any advice!

[QUOTE]If it's free, then I'd go for a message of thanks.

  • mmmmm... my husband would LOVE this.

I'd go with a simple message of thanks.  Your wedding day is very important to you but other people have nothing to do with stuff labeled with your wedding day after the fact, ya know?  I'm not saying that to be mean, I'm just being realistic.

A simple "Thanks so much for being a groomsman!" would be perfect.
  • Personally, I wouldn't write anything on it at all.
  • Thanks. No problem. My FI was the one who kept putting the date on examples ;)

  • I think I would put their name, but not your wedding date.  In general, most adults don't want things around with their names on them, but something disposable is a little different.  I still wouldn't put your wedding date on it.  That seems strange.

I do like the idea of a word of thanks, but I think it's more important to include an actual thought out thank you card to each of them, so it might be redundant.

Perhaps I would just go with cheesy and put "Drink up, Chris" and "Cheers to you, Tom"
