Wedding Party Gifts

This is my second marriage, and our children will be apart of the wedding party with one exception...my sister.  She will be my maid of honor.  We are giving everyone in the wedding party a small thank you  The problem is, my other half has 2 sisters and a brother that will not be apart of the wedding party but, will be at the rehersal dinner which is where we intend to give the gifts to the wedding party and our parents.  Do I need to give them something also...just because?

No -- if you did that, you would have to give EVERYONE a gift.   

If he wants to thank them just for being supportive sisters, then he can give them small gifts or write heartfelt notes to them, and give these out privately.

There is no need to give gifts to them.. First thing, They are just part of rehersal dinner not actual wedding. Second, If you give gifts to them you have to give to everyone else.
