A little bummed...

My shower is on Tuesday.  I was checking my registry to make sure I had a good amount of items in different price ranges, and I noticed nothing has been purchased. Now don't get me wrong, I know that no one has to get anything off my registry.  Heck, they don't even have to get me gifts, but knowing that still didn't keep me from feeling a little bummed out.

I'm going to a baby shower this afternoon and plan to stop to pick up a gift on the way there.

People will get you stuff.

That happend to me before my shower but many people did get things off my registry, either the day before or day of. Don't worry!

Two of my friends stopped at BBB on the way to my shower to get my gifts.  When they got to the shower, the realized that 3 other people at the shower were people they saw 30 minutes earlier at BBB, also buying me gifts.  Small world, eh?

Don't worry.  I'm sure you'll get plenty of things off your registry:)

It's the weekend - perfect time for shopping for a Tuesday shower.

I shopped within 15 minutes of the shower last time I went to one, and th night before the other time.

ceh789, that didn't sound rude at all!  I'm not going to let it ruin my weekend. I'm one of those weirdos that buys things in advance I guess!

People will probably shop this weekend or do what I usually do and wait last minute to buy something. Don't fret, I am sure you will be showered with gifts and have a lovely time.

I run the bridal registry at my store, people usually come in the day before or the day of, for the most part.  You may have a few people who buy ahead, especially older people, but most people are very last minute.  You'll get stuff from your registry, don't worry!

Some people also may not tell the cashier that it's off a registry. They see it at home and then go get it. Happens all the time. I shop far in advance but FI is one of those last minute guys so if I'm out with him, your gift is last minute lol. You'll get stuff!

You'll get gifts, even if it'a not on your registry. And i agree, I am sometimes a last minute shopper and will get a gift on my way TO the shower.

I got tons of gifts!  I guess most people do pick up stuff last minute.  I got some cute stuff that wasn't on my registry either.
