gifts for readers??

What do you think about this:

1. There is a good italian restaurant down the street from us that has amazing olive oil. We were thinking about getting that plus a nice spatula or something. 

or

2. Getting a spatula, wisk, etc, and wrapping a nice dishtowel around it with a bow. 

I dont know!! I cant believe we forgot about getting them something. Does a spatula or wisk really go with olive oil?? The readers are women & they all cook, so it seems appropriate. I just dont want to get them something generic.

Since they like cooking, it's probably OK.  I hate it and would not be enthused about a spatula, whisk, or other cooking utensils, so it's hard for me to say.

You can also shop for each person individually. What are their likes and interestst? We got each reader a nice card plus a gift card to a store they like. For one, she enjoys reading so we got her a Barnes & Noble GC. One reader is obsessed with shopping so we got her a mall GC, etc.
