Out of curiosity, how large are/were your registries compared to your guest lists? Did you find you needed to add to your registry?
I have 216 items on my registry, for a guest list of approximately 150 people, though we'll probably invite more - lots of OOTers who'll probably decline. Half of the items are under $50, and we've got about 20 things over $150. Depending on my mood, that seems like a lot sometimes, and other times doesn't seem like enough, since I want to make sure there are plenty of options. We still have a few things we want to add, too - towels and such, which will add up numbers-wise.
As an aside, I know 4 or more registries are seen as gift-grabby around here (and I have 4, but the 4th is Macys, and only for china, and FMIL thinks it would be odd if we moved our china to the BBB registry.) When does the number of items on the registry start to look gift-grabby?
