I had my shower this past weekend and got three Keurigs. I only registered for one, but Kohl's was acting funny and when people would buy stuff, they wouldn't remove them from the registry. Or, my family didn't go through the registry, saw what was on it about bought it anyway. Who knows.
One I want to keep, one came with a gift receipt, one was from my mom and she said can return it, no problem.
Now the question is, for the one who gave me a gift reciept that I'd like to do the return on, (who also left before I opened all the gifts- she left really early), how would I write my thank you note? Do I not mention anything about it? Do I mention anything at all? Do I just thank her for being so thoughtful and she wont have to know about me needing to return? I feel like that is deceitful, but I thought I'd check to see what you would do with this situation. I want to sound as grateful as possible (because I totally am! I was very pleasantly surprised by all).
